To safely clean
and maintain your turquoise and gemstone jewelry, use a
polishing cloth. It is the only thing that you'll ever need
to keep that shine and sparkle and it's safe for use on
your turquoise, gemstones and your bear claws too.
to the best of our ability, that the turquoise items we
sell are natural turquoise stone and not stabilized, treated
or reconstituted unless otherwise stated. Of course, we
cannot be absolutely sure of that fact since we are not
physically present when our items are crafted, but we do
trust the word of our artists and suppliers since we have
been dealing with them for years and years.
You should treat
your turquoise jewelry that you purchase from us as natural
turquoise; that way, you'll be able to enjoy it for many,
many years to come!
Being a phosphate
mineral, turquoise is inherently fragile; do not expose
it to soaps, shampoos, perfumes and other cosmetics will
attack the finish and can/will alter the color of turquoise
gems, as will most commercial jewelry cleaning fluids.
