Global Imaging Resources (GIR) utilizes FedEx Ground, FedEx Freight and also may contract with a third-party logistics company to coordinate freight and installation requirements (where applicable).
Buyers will be provided with the carrier specific tracking/PRO# information, and when possible, the quantity and dimensions of crates, cartons or pallets. However, a Pre-Shipment Checklist may be required on all freight shipments.
Freight items will ship via Common Carrier/LTL Freight Services. Most freight items ship within 3-5 business days after receipt of cleared payment. GIR coordinates 2 freight pickups per week at our main warehouse location. Shipping and Freight costs charged to at the time of invoicing are for standard curbside delivery to commercial U.S. addresses only. The freight fee, invoiced as part of the sale, is for standard delivery to a commercial destination that includes lift gate service with standard delivery service Monday-Friday anytime between 8:00AM - 5:00PM (or as normal for the specific carrier used for your shipment).
Any special requests to a specific day or time, to a residential address or residential area, will increase the cost of the stated shipping fee(s). All ancillary fees, storage fees or redelivery fees charged by the carrier, are the sole responsibility of the buyer. If you have special delivery requirements (i.e. call prior to delivery, delivery appointment needed, restricted access, multi-floor, etc.), please contact us prior to purchase/invoicing/payment, so that any incremental costs, other than standard freight frees, can be added to your invoice. GIR is not responsible for ancillary delivery charges due to non-standard and/or special delivery requirements not disclosed prior to the time of the sale.
White Glove Delivery service is an available option (delivered inside your business and unpacked or uncrated). The service is available for an additional fee. Please contact us for more information or a quote.
Buyers must inspect items for damage of crates, cartons or pallets PRIOR to signing the Bill of Lading, provided by the freight carrier upon delivery.
Buyers must be sure to reference any shipment or container damage on the Bill of Lading and take photos of any visible damage. This will help assure liability of the freight carrier, should any damage be found, and will assist in the claims process, should a claim need to be filed.
Some items may be available for international shipping. Additional fees, customs brokering, and customs clearance are the responsibility of the buyer. Please contact us to arrange international shipment and purchases in advance.
Unless otherwise stated in the listing, all items are sold As-Is. Any item that is listed with and covered under a guarantee or warranty, may be subject to a 15% restocking fee, if a return is necessary. All "As-Is" and "For Parts" sales are final. These sales do not qualify for returns. ALL return shipping charges are the buyer's responsibility, regardless of the reason for return.
