Genealogy is about far more than collecting names and dates. It's about rediscovering your family's history, telling a story about the lives and legacy of people who lived and breathed in a time long since past. Few resources can help us connect to our ancestor's day as these fantastic maps. Hand drawn by a couple of artists between 1850 and 1910, they give a "bird's eye view" of your ancestors' home long before anyone (except a bird) could get such a glimpse. And to us, they expose a snapshot of time, when life was simpler, the streets were unpaved and no one had even heard of an automobile.
Filled with beautiful details, many of these maps, which cover small and large towns all across America, show each house, each building, each church and even people on the streets. Details vary from map to map, but each one is a rare work of art just waiting for a frame and a spot on your wall or inside your scrapbook.
MORE MAPS ARE BEING ADDED- TOWNS IN EVERY STATE WILL SOON BE AVAILABLE!
