Question: Are drivers and operating systems (Windows or other) included with the purchase of a computer?
Answer: TBF Computing does not include drivers or operating software with any of our PCs or laptops. This means that you, the buyer, will need to have the software (and the technical skills to install and update said software) in order to use the computer after receiving it.
Question: Can I pick up my item locally and avoid shipping costs if I am able to travel to TBF Computing's physical location?
Answer: If “local pickup” is a shipping option on the listing in question, absolutely! Please contact us to coordinate a pickup time.
Question: Will this item work with ____ device?
Answer: TBF Computing typically lists compatibility information when we specifically pulled the item being sold from the unit that we are listing compatibility with. Unless we (TBF Computing) state that an item listed on Ebay is compatible with a specific device, we will not be able to answer compatibility questions. If your question is of a technical nature or deals with compatibility, please use the internet to look up the specifications or owner's manual. We do not want to provide you with false information, and we are in most cases unable to accurately provide this information. It is the buyer's sole responsibility to determine if the item will work for the intended application. Please DOUBLE CHECK to make sure that the item will work with your application, and that you have the capability to install, set up, and operate the item. We do not offer technical support.
Question: Will you ship an item using my Fedex/USPS/UPS account?
Answer: We will, in most cases, absolutely be willing to ship an item using a customer's account. We are able to receive and ship on a buyer's FedEx account, however, for UPS/USPS/DHL, the customer will have to provide us with a label as well as coordinate package pick up through the carrier. Please send us a message through the Ebay message center requesting this option, along with the label and or account number as soon as possible.
Returns and Refunds
We strive for 100% customer satisfaction with all of our transactions. On the rare occasion that an item you purchased from us is damaged or is not what you ordered/expected, please do not immediately open a resolution case, as we will in most cases be able to very quickly and effectively resolve your concern. Instead, please use the "ask seller a question" link on the completed auction page to inform us of the issue. Please thoroughly describe the issue, including any troubleshooting that you may have tried.
When possible, we will attempt to ship a replacement item in lieu of a refund, but if a replacement is not satisfactory or if one does not exist, we will often refund the total amount of the purchase.
Instances of “Buyer's Remorse”: TBF Computing absolutely understands that sometimes our customers will make a purchase and subsequently realize that they actually did not need it, or that they were mistaken about the compatibility of the purchased item. If you notify us that you would like to cancel the order before it is shipped, we are willing to cancel the order without penalty. However, if the item has already shipped, TBF Computing will still accept returns in instances of “buyer's remorse”, but will charge a 20% restocking fee in these instances; additionally, the customer will be required to pay return shipping to return the merchandise to us before a refund will be given.
