Look for me on social media and follow 'Retro Focus Eyewear' on Instagram @eyewearwhore, Tumblr@No Regrets, Facebook @Retro Focus Eyewear, Pinteres@ Retro Focus Eyewear, and Twitter. I run this eyewear business as well as 3 other websites myself and I still love what I do despite the hardships of being a small business owner in today's flooded internet shopping mall.
I do my very best to make every purchase a great experience for my buyers, my feedback says it all. I stand behind all my specs, and I do not compete with the sellers who sell cheap readers that break within a month.
Most of my readers are made of acetate and will last for years. Many styles are on their way to being sold out, and will not be offered anymore.
Message me if your 'watched' item ended from my store. I'll get back to you with a reason for it. Those of you who know me and my specs keep coming back for more but you won't find me here anymore. I AM OUT THERE. Remember Retro Focus Eyewear. Thank you so much for your support. There are a lot of sellers out there to choose your readers from. Retro Focus Eyewear is all about quality at an affordable price since 2001.
I'm 50 somethin' and my life has changed (caretaker for my parents and my inlaws (who are in their 90's) so I do a lot of running around.
I ship every single day, yet most of the post offices in Queens NY are shorthanded and do not scan my parcels when they are dropped off, nor will they scan them even if I insist on waiting online for them to do it. Thus my ratings here go down and so does my product exposure because ebay thinks I am not shipping within 24 hours like they mandate us to.
No one said life is fair, and being a small business seller here certainly gets tougher each time I turn around. I do my best regardless and yet business on this market place gets worse every year. With the influx of eyewear manufacturers setting up shop here and undercutting us retailers, ebay basically shows their products in 'Best Match' searches because their low prices get the most hits. Those sellers who sell quality at a higher price got shut out of the searches and therefore 'didn't exist anymore. No one could find us. Also, the more inventory you have, the higher up in that search you showed up. Make a mistake and ship the wrong item to someone, your exposure goes down again. So much for an equal opportunity to sell here, as it was prior to their major changes in 2009. So…….I have my own website, All your old favorites are there ;)
