As described and delivered fast - working well on windows but linux driver is proving very hard to build on recent kernel, and documentation is rather basic. It really should NOT be necessary to start posting help messages in user forums to get the drivers to build, however this is really a fault of the manufacturer and not the vendor... so is just mentioned here for the information of the supplier - and anyone else who (like me) needs linux compatibility. I'm sure it will work eventually!

11/05/21 - After lots of fiddling I can now confirm this as working well on Linux, which makes it a superbly flexible solution. For the benefit of anyone struggling, as I was, it is worth persisting. The driver didn't seem to like compiling on pure Debian - but works on Ubuntu 20.04 LTS. However so far it won't compile reliably on any kernel higher than 5.9.xx
