Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What if I am unhappy with my purchase? Can I return it?
A: Yes, please email me with your complaints and we can discuss a possible exchange or refund.
 Q: Do you combine shipping?
A: Yes,I charge actual priority shipping charges by weight. With multiple items it often pays to use a priority flat rate box.
Q: When can I expect my order to arrive?
A: I often ship the day after receiving payment and priority mail is 2-3 days.
Q: How much is the Shipping and Handling Charge?
A: I charge actual shipping charges without a handling charge.
 Q: Do you ship internationally?
A: Not at the moment but would consider it for the future, please inquire.
 Q: What is rosemaling?
A: Rosemaling is a folk art painting from Norway. Stylized flowers, scrolls, C and S strokes make up the designs. Painted traditionally with oil paints on painted wood backgrounds. Applying rosemaling to clothing is a decorative, fun way to display it!
Q: How long have you been in business?
A: I started rosemaling in 1979 and started my business in 1982 with rosemaled jewelry. That evolved into clothing in 1990. My eBay store is a new venture started in December 2006. Go to my website to learn more: www.norkheritageworkshop.com
Q: How is the quality of your garments:
A: My garments are of very high quality and are purchased from companies I have done business with for years. As much as possible I feature 100% cotton items for comfort and wear-ability. Garments are put to the test before they are offered for sale.
Q: What are the washing/drying instructions?
A: Turn inside out if possible, machine wash warm on a gentle or light cycle, damp dry on permanent press and hang. Ironing from the wrong side if necessary. With proper care the design will look like new for years.
Q: What if I get a garment that doesn't fit me properly?
A: E-mail me about your purchase and we can decide if an exchange is in order. I try to work with everyone for customer satisfaction. My listings have measurements of each garment, measure a like garment that fits well and compare the measurements to the ones listed. Buyer pays shipping for the return as well as the new garment.
Q: Do you carry petite sizes?
A: My ladies fashion sweatshirts are a shorter length, I also have a few items in smaller sizes like my A-line jumpers in XS. Let me know what you are looking for and I will try to get it for you.
Q: Does this item come in another color or size?
A: Often I can special order another color or size for you. Contact me with special requests and I'll see what I can do. If the item is available I can list it just for you.
Q: I'm not Norwegian can I still wear these?
A: I think Rosemaling can be appreciated by anyone! I try to choose colors for my designs with blue denim, navy or black in mind so that my garments can easily fit into everyone's wardrobe.
