They printed much lighter than the name brand Brother cartridge. I was able to make it darker by changing the printer setting but it does use more toner. It is still a good deal.
The picture shows my original toner and the new toner printing difference. You can make it darker in your printer settings though.

took a bit of coaxing to get the printer to agree to use these cartridges for some reason. in the end it does work though...
