Frank and John Fenton opened for business in 1905, and introduced America in 1907 to inexpensive iridized glassware, later dubbed "Carnival Glass". Nearly 150 patterns in Carnival Glass are credited to Fenton. Throughout the next 106 years, Fenton produced a multitude of designs in a plethora of colors, on many different types of glass. In 1988, Fenton entered into an arrangement with the shopping channel QVC (Quality, Value, Convenience) to offer an assortment of glassware, to be made for and available exclusively through QVC. Eventually, over 1350 pieces were designed for distribution via QVC. Additionally Fenton, along with Imperial Glass, began the revival of Carnival Glass in the 1960s and 70s.
